Presentation: Blurring Edge of Jobs

Per Gartner, 64% of managers don’t think their employees are able to keep pace with future skill needs. Furthermore, 70% of employees say they haven’t even mastered the skills they need for their jobs today. This distils to the fact that despite a huge influx as well as claims of people possessing digital skills, the matching of demand vs supply of digital jobs are grossly inadequate. In this challenging environment most, digital talents are simply moving the goalpost from one engagement to the next without a clear direction to take control of their careers.
In this talk, we will enable individuals to be future ready through “Just-enough” learning to tackle the digital frontiers of the future. The key learning you can receive from this session are:
• Identify the possibilities to architect your career
• Increment your competencies with measured and well-thought out “micro-competencies”
• Understand role mobilities and the gaps between digital consulting roles
