Principal Consultant, Projects AssuredDavid is a Principal Consultant with Projects Assured and leads the Business Analysis consultant cohort. He is a highly analytical, detailed, innovative and experienced business analysis and enterprise change management practitioner with 35 years’ experience of successfully leading high-profile projects for his Defence and Government clients. David has a proven track-record of developing business cases for stakeholder approval, influencing the leadership team for business case sign-off and negotiation. As a result, he has extensive experience engaging with senior Departmental stakeholders to ensure project alignment with the strategic intent of the organisation’s senior executive. He has also successfully implemented bespoke systems and new business solutions to drive improvements in organisational efficacy and service delivery. David has been actively involved in the ACT business community, having been the co-owner of ‘The Basement ACT’, an ACT live music venue, and held the position of Small Business Representative on the ACT Liquor Advisory Board until 2015. David is engaged, has three children and far too many pets. He enjoys fishing, reading and contemplating retirement. |
Presentation: Core strengths of a Business Analyst
Public sector agencies are now facing greater scale and complexity in government transformation initiatives, with a much stronger focus on benefits management and realisation.
Through his experience at Projects Assured, David will highlight the core strengths of a business analyst in the initiation and management of projects, especially through linking strategy with delivery. He will also offer insights into the valuable input of business analysis throughout the lifecycle of a government program/project to ensure its eventual success.
