Presentation: The image of a modern digital business analyst
We live in a time when being adaptive is no longer a matter of choice, it is a matter of survival for many businesses. This affects how the businesses operate and changes the expectations of different roles in organisations – business analysis included. A modern business analyst is no longer a person sitting inside the box of predefined processes and tools, be those dictated by the organisation, industry, or standards. A business analyst who wants to make a difference needs to deeply understand which value can business analysis bring to the organisation. This will allow them to choose the specific tools and processes in an adaptive fashion unleashing the true potential of the role. In the session, we will explore why business analysis exists in the organisation, how it manifests itself on different levels, and what business analysis professionals need to focus on to be relevant in the modern unpredictable and agile era.
