Workshop: Secure and Resilient Business Analysis in Today’s Governance Driven Delivery

Business Analysts must adapt their mindset and analytical approach as regulatory expectations, security controls, and resilience tooling become deeply embedded in everyday delivery. This presentation explores how BAs can evolve their practice in environments where governance, security, and resilience tools shape every stage of the lifecycle, influencing how requirements are formed, risks assessed, and decisions made. It highlights the importance of aligning diverse stakeholders across business, cyber, architecture, and operations around secure, resilient, and compliant outcomes by using the shared visibility these tools provide. Rather than viewing governance as a constraint, the session reframes it as a catalyst for stronger decision making, enhanced organisational resilience, and faster, more confident delivery across complex ecosystems.

Participants will examine how modern governance and security tooling influences analysis, requirements, and solution design, and how BAs can adjust their approach to operate effectively in regulated, cloud driven environments. They will learn how governance tools create transparency across teams, enabling more informed conversations and stronger alignment. The session also demonstrates how early insights from these tools streamline delivery by preventing late stage surprises and supporting proactive risk management.

This presentation is ideal for Business Analysts in regulated or security sensitive environments, as well as those transitioning into governance, cyber, or resilience focused roles. It also benefits product owners, delivery leads, and architects who work closely with BAs, along with professionals responsible for shaping secure, resilient, and compliant business outcomes.
