Rahul Bharadwaj

Rahul is the founder of Soulful Careers, a soft skill development program for young professionals, and a ECBA Certified practicing business analyst with 4+ years of experience in Melbourne, known for building a strong LinkedIn professional presence from the ground up.

Beginning as an international student with a Master of Business Analytics from Monash University, Rahul grew his 9.5k+ LinkedIn network and visibility to attract business partnerships, strategic collaborations, and speaking opportunities without a publicist or marketing budget.

Rahul approaches personal branding through consistent, structured effort that has resulted in long term compounding of opportunities. Through his lived experiences, he is passionate about helping BAs/Professionals at every stage realise that visibility is a skill, not a personality trait.

Presentation: Your Resume Won’t Get You In the Room: The Art of Standing Out in a Saturated Market

In a market flooded with equally qualified business analysts, the question is no longer “are you skilled?”. It’s “do the right people know you exist?”

This workshop is a no-fluff, hands-on session designed to help BAs build and activate a personal brand that creates real career opportunities regardless of experience level, introversion, or how long ago you last updated your LinkedIn profile.

Facilitated by two BAs who built visible, trusted, and opportunity-generating brands through very different paths, this session dismantles the myths that stop most BAs from showing up: “I’m too junior,” “I don’t want to brag,” “I don’t have time,” “I’m not a content person.” It replaces those blockers with a practical framework — the Personal Branding Triangle: Visibility (getting seen), Credibility (earning trust), and Proof (showing results) — helping attendees align their expertise with the channels and audiences most likely to create real connections.

Attendees won’t just hear about personal branding, they’ll practice it. Through a live volunteer exercise, two early-career and two mid-senior BAs will introduce themselves on stage, get coached in real time, and leave with their first LinkedIn post drafted before the session ends.

Participants walk away with a clear action plan (not a 47-step strategy) built on one principle: consistency compounds, accelerating access to opportunities that would otherwise take years to build. Your next opportunity is more likely to come from someone who saw your name than a résumé you sent cold.

Rahul will be co-presenting with Gaurav Kathuria.
