Rolee Satyam

Rolee Satyam is the Head of Data & AI at Tyro, where she leads the organisation’s data and AI agenda, harnessing technology to create meaningful impact for Australian businesses and their customers.

Prior to Tyro, Rolee was Consumer Chief Data & Analytics Officer at Westpac, where she led a 400-person organisation and helped shape the bank’s approach to data, AI, personalisation and responsible innovation.

Her career spans banking, retail and technology across Australia and internationally, with experience across organisations including Westpac, Woolworths Group and Walmart. Throughout her career, Rolee has been fascinated by a question that has become even more important in the age of AI: how do we use increasingly intelligent technology to amplify, rather than diminish, human intelligence?

Rolee has been recognised among CDO Magazine’s Global Power Women in Data and as an AFR Women in Leadership finalist.

At FoBA, Rolee will explore Coherence and Co-Intelligence in the Age of AI—why the future will not be defined by artificial intelligence alone, but by our ability to combine machine intelligence with human judgement, curiosity, creativity and purpose.

Keynote: The Age of Coherence: Why Co-Intelligence Is the Missing Ingredient in the Age of AI

Artificial Intelligence is transforming how we work, decide and innovate at an unprecedented pace. Yet, despite extraordinary advances in technology, many organisations find themselves facing an unexpected challenge: more intelligence, but not necessarily better outcomes.

Why?

Because intelligence alone is no longer the differentiator.

The next era of transformation belongs to organisations that can create Co-Intelligence: the partnership between human intelligence and artificial intelligence and translate that partnership into Coherence: the alignment of purpose, people, data, technology, decisions and customer outcomes.
Drawing on personal experiences leading large-scale data and AI transformations, this keynote challenges the audience to rethink the role of leadership, business analysis and organisational design in the age of AI.
Rather than asking, “What can Artificial Intelligence do?”, we will explore a more important question:

“What becomes possible when human intelligence and artificial intelligence elevate one another underlined by coherent thinking.”

The session will introduce a practical leadership framework built around two defining ideas:

  • Co-Intelligence where human judgement and artificial intelligence work together to create better decisions, stronger innovation and greater impact.
  • Coherence  where strategy, people, technology and customer outcomes are intentionally aligned, enabling organisations to transform with clarity rather than complexity.

Through personal stories, practical examples and a forward-looking perspective, the keynote will inspire leaders and business analysts to move beyond AI adoption towards building organisations that are not only more intelligent, but more human, more aligned and ultimately more capable of creating meaningful change.

Audience takeaway

Participants will leave with a new perspective:

The future will not belong to organisations with the most Artificial Intelligence. It will belong to organisations that create the greatest Co-Intelligence and the deepest Coherence.
