Eksara Jayan is a lead consultant in Business Consulting at Virtusa with over 9 years of experience. Earlier he had been leading the business analyst practice of Allianz Insurance Sri Lanka. There, Eksara has built a complete BA unit from 0 and revolutionized the company’s workflows by introducing design thinking practices. He had been the first person in Sri Lanka to conduct a Google Style Design Sprint in a financial institute. And led product designing teams of enterprise and core systems using lean methodologies and Human human-centered design.

He is currently the VP of Education of IIBA Colombo Chapter and writes his own Newsletter for business analysts called “The Classy Business Analyst”. Eksara has a Master’s in Business Analytics, an MBA from the University of West London, a certified scrum master, a scrum product owner, a SAFe Agilist, a Certified Salesforce Business Analyst, and a certified Agile Coach.
