Presentation: Why I BA – applying the Competency Roadmap to understanding yourself and developing a successful BA career

There are many entry points into a career in Business Analysis, and Business Analysis activities are buried within many job titles or role descriptions.

In this session, Garrie will outline how the IIBA Competency Model can be used to:
◾ conduct a self-assessment
◾ identify job advertisements you may be overlooking
◾ assess your team to find business analysis competency gaps to overcome through training, mentoring or additional resourcing
◾ improve your own presentation into the job market to gain access to more interesting and challenging roles

Garrie will bring together moments from his career with the IIBA Competency Model Tools, and answer the question: just why is he a BA rather than anything else at all?
