Mike Redden
Mike is a proud geek. Consulting across most of Adelaide implementing Information Management and automation solutions for 20 years before finding a home at SA Power Networks, Mike has realized that his passion is not in writing code, but in delivering valuable, impactful change using technology as a medium. In his role at SA Power Networks, Mike is responsible for walking his robotic dog, convincing his colleagues to use AI to open a winery, and running a regular Dungeons and Dragons session. Between all of that, he is the catalyst of change that ensures everyone – from our power line workers to the CEO – has the right technology, services, and processes to be the best they can be.

SA Power Networks recognized that with the creation of ChatGPT, telling people ‘Stop’ wouldn’t work, and telling people ‘Go for it’ would pose an unacceptable risk, so they had to find something between those two. Join Mike as he goes through the early stages of identifying what that middle ground looked like, building a proof of concept for a small group of business analysts, and finding so much value within that the next step obviously had to be releasing that to the entire organization.
