Nick Beaugeard

Nick Beaugeard is a serial entrepreneur. Having started developing software on the Apple ][ at the age of 9, Nick progressed to leading a number of organisations from inception to successful exit. Nick has always been leading the development of advanced technology, from the systems management infrastructure and technology in the 1990s which led to devops and the cloud, through to WebAssembly, blockchain and more recently large scale AI developments, Nick has always worked on technologies that push the boundaries of what is capable.

Nick and his companies have been highly awarded, winning Australian software developer of the year (twice), six global Microsoft Innovation awards and a finalist in the 2010 global RedHerring awards. Having been named an IT Industry Super connector by Forrester in 2019, Nick enjoys relationships at the highest level across the global IT industry, from telco to software company.

Nick has spent the last two years working on a number of emerging technology projects through his consulting arm of Released Group and has funded a number of innovative start-ups through its venture arm, released Ventures. He also runs the HPE and NEXTDC AI Lab in Artarmon, NSW.

Previously, Nick has chaired the ANZ community for CompTIA, and has had global senior roles at Microsoft, Dimension Data and others.
