Perth Presentation: Shrinking the Pie: Making a Case for Controlling Risk
Implementing controls for risk costs money but provide no financial benefit. Therefore, making the case to invest in controls is difficult, particularly when the risks are intangible cybersecurity risks and the controls are technical in nature. This often leads to the cheapest controls being implemented – whether or not they are the best. This presentation looks at how business analysts can make the case for implementing better controls, supporting business efficiently and flexibility in the long term
Sydney Presentation: Aggregating Chaos: Where Machine Learning and the Real World Collide
Business change always occurs in a context – it is the context that defines what is relevant to the change. In a world where the application of Artificial Intelligence (AL) and Machine Learning (ML) seems limitless, it’s more important than ever to consider context – the context under which the technology has been created, the context under which the data that drives it has been collected, and the context to which it is being applied. This presentation will look at key points to consider when applying ML to the real world.
