Presentation: From Vision to Structure: Thinking Like an Architect
In a world of accelerating digital transformation and complex systems, the ability to “think like an architect” is no longer reserved for IT professionals—it’s a mindset that enables better decisions across business, operations, and technology. This session explores how adopting an architectural perspective empowers leaders and teams to navigate ambiguity, align initiatives with strategy, and design scalable, sustainable solutions. We’ll unpack the core principles of architectural thinking—from abstraction and systems thinking to trade-off analysis and design governance. With real-world examples from enterprise and solution architecture, the presentation will demystify how architects frame problems, assess impacts, and build consensus across diverse stakeholders. Attendees will walk away with a practical framework to start thinking architecturally in their roles—whether they’re shaping a digital roadmap, redesigning processes, or evaluating technology investments.
