Presentation: Accelerating 200+ projects by 40-60% using a scaled Lean-Agile mindset and principles, and achieving >80% user satisfaction
Ever worked in a large organisation that has multiple project delivery frameworks, slowing the flow of work? This case study presents how a large, complex, financial services organisation introduced a new mindset and behaviours to de-duplicate its 7 project delivery frameworks into ‘one framework to rule them all’, using Agile/Lean principles.
The results? We accelerated the speed of 200+ projects by 40-60%, reduced ‘zombie’ projects by ~15%, and with >80% user satisfaction. This session is valuable to anyone working at program/portfolio level with an interest in how to work with a diverse set of stakeholders to introduce new ways of thinking and behaving, and improve the performance of complex, adaptive systems. You will learn what worked well, what didn’t, and what we’d do differently next time.
You’ll leave with a practical understanding of how to combine Lean-Agile thinking to accelerate the flow of value, how to design and deliver change that has high user satisfaction, and with a takeaway one-pager of 6 top actions you can apply in your own organisation to improve productivity (and happiness) in your teams.
Brisbane Panellist: Business Analysis 3.0: Human-Centred, Tech-Enabled, Boldly Evolving
Business analysis is no longer confined to a role – it’s a critical capability that empowers organisations to adapt, innovate, and deliver value in an era of rapid change and technological disruption. As the demand for human-centred, value-driven delivery grows, business analysis continues to evolve: blending structured analysis with empathy, adaptability, and bold experimentation.
In this dynamic panel, practitioners and change leaders will share diverse perspectives on how business analysis as a capability is being reimagined. From product thinking to agile coaching to enterprise transformation, we’ll explore how analysis enables stronger human connections, sharper decisions, and sustainable innovation.
Through the lenses of Rethink, Reconnect, and Revolutionise, the discussion will unpack:
- How business analysis practices and responsibilities are evolving, and which traditional approaches no longer serve us
- How empathy, trust, and active listening elevate collaboration across hybrid and cross-functional teams
- How emerging tools and technologies (e.g., AI, automation) are reshaping the business analysis toolkit and accelerating impact
If you’ve ever asked “How can business analysis stay relevant, powerful, and future-focused?”
Well, this session will provide insights and inspiration to help you harness Business Analysis as a capability for transformation.
